Consultation

1. Program or Organizational Consultation

This process is intended to problem solve and add to quality assurance, either case specific or program structure. Consulting is intended to increase functioning and achievement related to compliance and best practice. Consultation can help in identifying gaps in services, individual and community barriers to action, misinterpretation of procedures and applied action and, individual staff needs for knowledge and training.  Once identified, consultation can identify solutions because of shared understanding and exploration of perspectives about service delivery issues. This discovery results in optimal performance (effective and efficient use of resources).

2. Program Evaluation

The usefulness and value of all components of program delivery as defined by community, users, and leadership is critical to growing and ensuring the needs of the community are met. Measuring compliance to standards, terms of reference established by stakeholders, leadership and the recipients of the service is critical to management of programs.
